We recruit and select individuals whose conduct, motivation, appearance, competence and integrity are beyond approach.
Where Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employees) Regulations 1981 (TUPE) applies, we do not assume that all companies have adopted our strict standards. Therefore we have an induction process that determines whether additional training is required.
Employees are recruited on the basis of your site-specific requirements, which form the basis of the job specification.
VSS will hold local interviews where required and these will be conducted by the Contract Manager who is familiar with your assignment. We encourage you to be part of the selection process by meeting with potential employees particularly for posts of Site Supervisor or Manager.
VSS operated Vetting Procedures which fully comply with BS 7499:2007 Static Site Guarding and Mobile Patrol Services and BS 7858: 2006 Security Screening of Individuals Employed in a Security Environment.
